Independent Family Run Service since 1895

Latest COVID-19 information

We continue to offer a caring and professional service during this difficult time, and we are following closely the guidance of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

We can arrange a funeral that is in line with government restrictions, and we can help you to plan a memorial service for a later date that will allow a fuller celebration of your loved one’s life.

Please note that in line with the latest Government guidance visitors to funeral homes and places of worship are required to wear face coverings.

Blyth & Sons Limited

Blyth & Sons Limited

Blyth’s building firm was founded in 1895. The funeral division was formed in the 1940s. Tony Blyth was the third generation of his family to run the business and he ran it successfully for 40 years.

His son and daughter, Mark Blyth and Nichola Rosser, joined him as co-directors in 2019. Sadly, Tony passed away in March 2020, and Nichola and Mark continue to oversee the running of the company.

In 1983 Blyth & Sons acquired Lloyd Durham’s of Holt, incorporating Canler & Sons of Fakenham and S. T. Suttons of Wells.
