North Norfolk Funeral Services

Owned by the Blyth family since 1895, we provide a personal, empathetic and highly professional service. Every funeral is tailored to meet the needs and wishes of you and your loved one, whilst providing the greatest care and respect.
We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our funeral homes

All four of our funeral homes are run by experienced Funeral Directors and their teams and we are full members of the National Association of Funeral Directors. We are governed by their code of conduct and professional standards and we are proud to provide, to our local community and beyond, the high level of service they expect.

Our Funeral Directors

Our Funeral Directors, Hayley Pegg and Guy Stratton, will help you through all the necessary arrangements, giving you all the time you need. There are many choices to be made when preparing your loved one’s funeral and they will guide you every step of the way. Both Hayley and Guy are happy to come to your address, or you are welcome to visit one of our funeral homes in Sheringham (Blyth & Sons Ltd), High Kelling, Holt (Lloyd Durham Funeral Services), Fakenham (Canler & Son) or Wells (S. T. Sutton).

“We understand that at such an upsetting time it can be very difficult to make decisions. From the moment you contact us, we will guide you and offer all possible assistance.”

Blyth & Sons Limited

Blyth & Sons Limited

Blyth’s building firm was founded in 1895. The funeral division was formed in the 1940s. Tony Blyth took over the running of the firm in the 1980s. He ran it successfully for 40 years.

The firm is currently run by Tony’s son and daughter, Mark Blyth and Nichola Rosser. They are the fourth generation of the Blyth family to do so.

In 1983 Blyth & Sons acquired Lloyd Durham of Holt. Canler & Sons of Fakenham and S. T. Suttons of Wells were acquired a few years later.
